The Insight Business Primary Rate Interface (PRI) voice service is an Internet Protocol technology that allows your business to transmit local and long-distance phone calls cost-effectively over our state-of-the-art network infrastructure. With Insight Business as your provider, there is no need to worry about your communications traveling on a leased or public connection. From a dedicated fiber connection, voice IP signals are converted into PRI protocol, enabling businesses to use their existing equipment and keep their existing telephone numbers. Insight Business' PRI service supports simultaneous voice calls using an industry standard primary rate interface T-1. Our PRI provides 23 B channels and one D channel to connect your PBX over a fiber optic circuit.
